Things Happening

A family death
an abdication
a blizzard remembered
for a generation.

A beautiful soul
lasting ninety years
through Depression then War
through laughs then tears.

Feet of snow falling
in a wind driven hurry
as two systems created
and east coast fury.

A high religious leader
deviating from the mold
abdicating his seat
for being tired and old.

All these things happening
through these days God Given
showing us how crazy is
this world that we live in.
