Can the world really
today
go without war
there is always someone
out there
who needs to
settle the score
with one excuse
or another
as to what they are
fighting for.
Do we really need
to fix
every on-going problem
of every Suni
or Shiite battling Muslim
who decides that
peace is just no good
in their Iraqi or
Syrian neighborhood?
Troops are
willing to sacrifice
but why must they
pay every senseless price
for every leader
who heads not our advice
thus creating a defense
only manned by mice?
Can the world ever
stop blasting
planes from the
sky
can Israelis and
Hamas ever see
eye to eye
can violence and
aggression themselves
EVER DIE
instead of the
innocent
for whom mourners
cry?
The world has become
one big
war-busy nation
they should label
our time
“The War Generation”
I wish my country
would not feel
the obligation
to get involved
in every other
country’s
war situation.

All should learn from the lesson learnt by Alexander the great. After having conquered the world, lamented after having done so because he took with him nothing when he died at a very tender age.

if we peaceloving people unite… then it may become real. The problem is anti war people are not much vocal, we should become more vocal about how much we HATE wars…. and convince the majority to not help war… tables may turn then.
