Crazy Ways We Live

Filed under: Uncategorized — migueltio @ 2:34 pm

More cars and trucks on

the roads than there used to

be yet more routes and streets

are shrunk by a lane or re-routed causing

more delays thant the old way would have.

More elderly people with

hardly enough money to make

a living are paying out their

last dollars to survive while celebrities

with money to burn cannot handle it and kill themselves.

State governments try to attract

more businesses and private sector

industry to their states while at the

same time cut away the public workers

whose job it has been to make the state worth living in.

Students graduate every year from

high school then go to colleges that

recruit them into their teaching

programs so that after the monstrosity of

certification requirements are met they cannot find a job.

There is a recent trend of signs on construction

trucks saying not to follow them

yet they are traveling

slow on the road and so many others have

no choice but to follow them.

So many years have been

spent working for equality

among people through increased

awareness, presence, and services

but people have also seemed to increase their prejudices.

There is a world out there

full of places to go

things to do

and to learn

if only we are allowed.
