A White Night Promise

Filed under: Poetry — migueltio @ 11:52 pm

So many reminisces

of events this year

by the media

by the networks

who reported them

loud and clear.

Twenty Twelve

what a year

full of so much

There were

happy moments

there were

high points

but they seem to have

fallen on a deaf ear.

Last night

I took a walk

through my yard

covered with snow

covered so white

from a stormy show.

What a beautiful night

snow shining

in a blue-like

glow of candlelight

the sky amass with

clouds illuminating bright.

May this late year

projection of white lights

be a sign that the

new year will be

more abundant with

promising positive sights.
